۱۰ نابینایی که جهان را تغییر دادند !

نابینایی فقدان کامل درک نور است. بیشتر مردم اعتقاد دارند که ما با چشمانمان می‌بینیم با این حال، حقیقت این است که این مغز ماست که آنچه فکر می‌کنیم می‌بینیم را درک می‌کند.

قانون:افراد مشهور نابینا در بسیاری از حوزه‌ها جهان را تغییر داده و حتی شکل داده‌اند، در بخش‌هایی چون موسیقی، سیاست، علم، هنر و ورزش. آن‌ها موفق شدند چرا که اجازه ندادند تا عدم درک خارجی نور، نور درونی آن‌ها را خاموش کند. این‌ها افرادی هستند که جهان با استعداد و شجاعت آن‌ها، روشن شده است:

هلن کلر (۲۷ ژوئن ۱۸۸۰- یکم ژوئن ۱۹۶۸) نویسنده‌، فعال اجتماعی و مدرس امریکایی نخستین فرد کر ولالی بود که در دانشگاه تحصیل کرد. او یک مدافع خستگی‌ناپذیر حقوق افراد معلول بود.

استیو وندر (تولد: ۱۳ می‌۱۹۵۰ میلادی) خواننده، ترانه‌سرا، تهیه‌کننده آمریکایی است. فهرستی نابینایان مشهور جهان بدون نام وی کامل نخواهد شد. وندر ترانه‌های بسیاری در حمایت از گروه‌های حقوق بشری و مبارزه بدون خشونت سروده است.

ری چارلز (۲۳ سپتامبر ۱۹۳۰- دهم ژوئن ۲۰۰۴) نوازنده پیانو و موسیقدان امریکایی از خوانندگان سبک‌های جاز و ریتم و بلوز بود. او از پیشگامان موسیقی سول و پیانو بود که به شکل‌دهی صدای ریتم و بلوز پرداخت. چارلز را «تن‌ها نابغه واقعی در این حرفه» می‌نامیدند.

کلود مونته (۱۴ نوامبر ۱۸۴۰- پنجم دسامبر ۱۹۲۶) بنیانگذار نقاشی امپرسیونیست فرانسوی بود. تا سال ۱۹۰۷ همچنان مشهور بود اما کم‌کم مشکلات جدی‌اش آغاز شد و بینایی‌اش را از دست داد. حتی در شرایطی که وضعیت بینایی کلود روز به روز بد‌تر می‌شد، او هیچ‌گاه از نقاشی کردن دست نکشید. کلود مونت در پایان زندگی‌اش و در حالی که کاملا نابینا شده بود، یکی از مشهور‌ترین آثار خود با عنوان «نیلوفرهای آبی» را نقاشی کرد.

آندری بوچلی (تولد: ۲۲ سپتامبر ۱۹۵۸) در ۱۲ سالگی در یک تصادف در جریان بازی فوتبال نابینا شد. وی با وجود تسلط به پیانو، فلوت و ساکسیفون در مدرسه نابینایان ادامه تحصیل داد و دکترای حقوق دریافت کرد. بوچلی با ایتالیایی خواننده‌های مشهور اپرا چون پاواروتی نیز همکاری داشته است.

فرانکلین دلانو روزولت (سی‌ام ژانویه ۱۸۸۲-‌ دوازدهم آوریل ۱۹۴۵) سی‌ودومین رئیس‌جمهوری ایالات متحده امریکا بود. روزولت معلولیت‌های متعددی از جمله اختلال در بینایی داشت. وی یکی از محبوب‌ترین روسای‌جمهوری تاریخ امریکا بود.

توماس گور (دهم دسمابر ۱۸۷۰- شانزدهم مارس ۱۹۴۹) توماس گور سیاستمدار دموکرات امریکایی بود. وی در کودکی نابینا شد ولی هرگز از رویای خود برای سناتور شدن دست نکشید. در سال ۱۹۰۷ میلادی، او یکی از دو سناتور ایالت اوکلوهاما بود و دو بار دیگر نیز به این سمت انتخاب شد.

هریت توبمن (۱۸۲۰- ۲۱ مارس ۱۹۱۳) در جوانی یک برده بود که به کانادا گریخته بود ولی به امریکاا بازگشت، جایی که به کمک صد‌ها برده سیاه‌پوست شتافت. او در جریان مبارزات برابری حقوق سیاهان به شدت مورد ضرب و شتم قرار گرفت و از ناحیه سر مجروح شد، جراحتی که منجر به اختلال شدید بینایی وی شد. گفته شده که این مسئله نیز نتوانست توبمن را از مبارزه برای آزادی همنوعانش بازدارد.

لوئیس بریل (چهارم ژانویه ۱۸۰۹- ششم ژانویه ۱۸۵۲) در سن سه سالگی چشم چپش به‌طور تصادفی با یکی از ابزار کارگاه آهنگری پدرش آسیب دید که باعث نابینایی این چشم شد و به علت نفوذ عفونت به چشم راستش در سن ۴ سالگی بینایی خود را کاملا از دست داد. او خالف خط بریل است، روشی که افراد نابینا می‌توانند از طریق آن بنویسند و بخوانند.

مارلا رانیان (تولد: چهارم ژانویه ۱۹۶۹) دونده امریکایی دو ماراتن است که نابینا است. او تاکنون سه بار قهرمان ملی دو پنج هزار متر زنان شده است. او نخستین ورزشکار نابینایی است که به‌طور رسمی در مسابقات المپیک شرکت کرده است.

بهداد سلیمی امشب با بلند كردن وزنه 214 كیلوگرم در حركت یكضرب ركورد تاریخی حسین رضازاده را شكست.

به گزارش جام جم آنلاین، بهداد سلیمی در تلاش سوم خود در حركت یكضرب وزنه 214 كیلوگرم را بالای سر برد و ركورد تاریخی حسین رضا زاده را شكست و فاتح مدال طلای دسته بعلاوه 105 کیلوگرم وزنه برداری جهان در پاریس شد.

بهداد سلیمی در تلاش اول خود در حركت یكضرب وزنه 201 كیلوگرم را بالا برد و مدال طلای خود را در این وزن مسجل كرد.

پهلوان ایرانی سپس به سوی وزنه 209 كیلوگرم یورش برد و به آسانی پولاد سرد را تسلیم خود كرد.

بهداد در ادامه رقابت ها باید در حركت دوضرب هنرنمایی كند و با اقتدار كامل بر سكوی اول جهان ایستاده و مقام قویترین مرد دنیا را نصیب خود كند.

How to List All Categories, Pages and Their ID in WordPress

If you are a developer, in some cases you need to get all categories and their IDs. You might start referring to wordpress codex but most likely you will end up with no solution, just like me. Rather than counting on wordpress’s built-in function, you can write your own MySQL query to accomplish this.

MySQL query that pulls all categories from database

$table_prefix is a variable declared in wp-config.php, it carries value “wp_” by default unless you changed the setting. It is your SQL tables’ prefix.

WordPress stores all category, tags, etc in wp_term_taxonomy table so we can load all categories name and ID from there.

What about Pages?

How to Create A Standalone WordPress Custom PHP Page

The term “Standalone” here refers to a page that run using WordPress engine but does not display using your WordPress theme. It means that your page can access all PHP functions in WordPress but you get to decide how the page looks like. The good news is, to do this using WordPress is amazingly easy.

Loading WordPress Engine

First thing to do is to load the WordPress core engine file, wp-load.php. Depends on where you want to put your custom page, you just need to use require_once(‘wp-load.php’), of course point it to correct folder if your custom page is in different folder.

In this example, i put my custom page in my WordPress root folder. Enter this in your custom page:

//if you put in "your-wordpress-root/wp-content/" folder , prepend with "../" to go "1 folder up"
//require_once('../wp-load.php');
 
?>

Congratulations, you just created a standalone WordPress custom PHP page. Isn’t that easy?

Making the page Admin-Only

Very often you need limit access to your page to your blog admins only. You can check if the user is an admin after the require_once() statement:

As we said previously, after we loaded wp-load.php, we then have access to all WordPress functions, that is why we can use is_user_logged_in() and current_user_can() to check the user.

“manage_options” is the capability we used to check if the user is admin because all admins can “manage_options”. For more capabilities other than just “manage_options”, please refer to the WordPress Codex on Roles & Capabilities.
